Bio: I think that the whole of Torah and Judaism can be summed up in the overarching principle "kavod ha briot". Understanding our own God given human dignity enables us to appreciate the God given dignity that is manifest in all of the created world. No abusive force in the universe can strip us of this dignity. Only we can damage our own "created in the image of God" dignity. All of the created world is a manifestation of God's dignity. Every animal. Every blade of grass.
